Who is eligible to purchase a 99-year lease at Nixyáawii?
An enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Parent or legal guardian of an enrolled CTUIR Tribal Member who is a minor.
Legal guardian of a CTUIR Tribal Member who is an incapacitated adult.
In good financial standing with all CTUIR loan programs and services. (“Good financial standing” means you are not in default with any CTUIR program/service)
Not currently party to another long-term residential lease on tribal trust land.
Have not caused tribal trust land to pass into fee status through sale.
You can complete your Eligibility Verification Form at any time, and you must have a Eligibility Verification Letter before placing an offer on any lot at the Nixyáawii Neighborhood. Click the link to the left to download a fillable form. You can fill it out virtually using Adobe Acrobat Reader, or you can print out a copy and fill it in by hand.
Once your form is completed, you can submit it to the CTUIR Economic & Community Development Dept. along with copies of your required documentation. To submit your form:

Eligibility Verification Letter
Once the Economic & Community Development Dept. has reviewed your form, they will return an Eligibility Verification Letter to you by e-mail and to your mailing address. Keep this letter to submit with your offer for any of the lots at the Nixyáawii Neighborhood.
